Tower blocks
So why am I talking to you? You're not a childhood friend I said I'd see to the end but when I leave you for home I'll still be surrounded by the block boys. Cause I am aware of where I'm going but you stand, stop stare like a fuckin' scarecrow in another farmer's field with tower blocks in, am I that entertaining? Have a pound or two to borrow? That'll sort me out just fine to meet you two tomorrow shall we make our way back to mine?

A Whole Year
A whole year passed without much at all we lived the high life, but I had to watch you fall and I know you did what you had to do but I was lost without you my friend, it's true we belonged up here together.
I always think about when we'd get so silly, and we'd shake about I know you were alone picture me on that night bus home it's all around me but I miss the boy and we always had a hand held out. |
